| For members of all World Class corps and the most-competitive Open Class corps, the activity of the 2008 Summer Music Games Tour is a full-time summer commitment. Members are on the road performing in competitions and parades across the U.S. and Canada virtually non-stop until the DCI Championship on August 9, 2008 at the Memorial Stadium of Indiana University, Bloomington, Indiana. Corps travel by coach buses in convoy with tractor trailers holding equipment and field kitchens. Once on the road, members generally sleep on the buses as the corps travels at night, and in sleeping bags on school gym floors once the next destination is reached. They practice their show for as long as schedule allows during the day, and then load up for the evening competition nearby. After the show is over, the cycle repeats. On July 12th (Saturday) the Drum Corps International Summer Tour will stop in Orlando, Florida. A four-time (1996, 1997, 1998 & 2003) DCI World Championships location, the Florida Citrus Bowl (see photo) will once again play host to the Marching Music's Major League.
